CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 11, 2012) – Tyler Laing and the No. 16 Myachi, Coulter Motorsports Chevy team head to Newport, Tenn. this weekend for the UARA-STARS Series Jeff’s Auto Sales 150 “Part Deux” at Newport Motor Speedway.
Riding a wave of vengeance from his last outing at Newport earlier last month, where a blown motor foiled a solid run, Laing looks to resurge at the historic facility. Led by veteran crew chief Mikey Toemmes, Laing will participate in the open practice session Friday afternoon before kicking off a busy race day on Saturday.
Laing along with his entire Coulter Motorsports crew will also be welcoming Myachi onboard their No. 16 Chevy for the first time this weekend. Myachi is proud to announce an agreement to sponsor Laing and the No. 16 machine in the UARA-STARS Series for the 2012 season.

Saturday’s Jeff’s Auto Sales 150 “Part Deux” the eighth race of the year, marks the halfway point of the 2012 season. Racing action from Newport Motor Speedway kicks off with practice from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. followed by qualifying at 5:30 p.m. The green flag is set to wave at 8:00 p.m. (All times Eastern.)
