Jackson commented on both of them in an interview with MMA Elite, with both coming into the conversation after UFC 148. First up was Griffin, who defeated Tito Ortiz by decision at the event, a result that Jackson didn't agree with.
"Tito won," Jackson said (transcribed by BJPenn.com). "Forrest even knew it, that's why he ran out of the cage like a little crybaby like he always does. C'mon. Somebody told him, 'Forrest, get your ass back to the cage! You won, idiot! We're gonna give it to you!' Stupid, man."
Griffin received a very minor set of commentary compared to Sonnen, as Jackson's clear distaste for the two-time Middleweight Title challenger seethed through in his comments on UFC 148.
"I think Chael should keep his word and leave the UFC because that's what he said he was gonna do if he lost," Jackson said. "And he lost horribly. Bad! Chael sucks. He should go somewhere where people like his interviews, the way he talks s*** on everybody. I can't stand that boy. F*** Chael."
Penick's Analysis: You're probably bound to find several fighters who may have similar feelings for Rampage, but these aren't surprising comments in the least. Sonnen's said plenty about Jackson to receive a response like this, and Jackson still has lingering issues with the loss he suffered to Griffin in 2008, so his feelings on both fighters make sense. Still, he's been coming off as extremely bitter over the last couple of years, and these petty potshots continue that trend.
