Today, Mercedes-Benz confirmed what we all knew to be a sure thing—that an A-class–based, sub-GLK-class compact SUV (rendered above) is going to happen. The affirmation arrived as a footnote in an announcement regarding the German production facility that builds the new A-class; the crossover will be built alongside the aforementioned hatchback as well as the taller B-class at Mercedes’ manufacturing facility in Rastatt, Germany.
