GP3 will race in Abu Dhabi for the first time in 2013, with the Yas Marina circuit hosting the season finale.
Series organisers revealed the calendar for next year on Wednesday, featuring seven Formula 1 support rounds and an unconfirmed standalone race on June 14-16.
The championship will not return to Monaco, where it raced for the first time in 2012.
The Abu Dhabi round in November will mark the first time the series has raced outside of Europe.
Series CEO Bruno Michel said: “Since the series’ inception, the calendar has always consisted of eight race weekends and it will be the case again in 2013.
“The fact that the season will end in Abu Dhabi marks GP3 history. It moves the series in yet another positive direction.”
GP3 also confirmed pre-season tests at Estoril, Barcelona and Silverstone, and an in-season test at the Hungaroring in June.
