British Touring Car race winner Dave Newsham and privateer Lea Wood will test with Speedworks Motorsport tomorrow as they assess their 2013 options.
Newsham took two wins on his way to ninth in the 2012 standings in an ES Racing S2000 Vauxhall Vectra, while Wood was 14th in his self-run car.
Now both will test Tony Hughes’s NGTC Toyota Avensis at Donington Park.
Speedworks boss Christian Dick said there was a chance one of them could race for the team in 2013, alongside a planned entry for Paul O’Neill.
“In both instances we’re looking to put something together for next year,” said Dick.
“Either one would be a good proposition – they’re both quick drivers.
“They’re both easy to work with. This is to get them in the car and both are keen to try NGTC.”
