Toyota has announced that it is bringing a sedan concept called the Furia to the 2013 Detroit auto show. The company also released a brief teaser video of the car that’s much spicier than anything we’ve come to expect from Toyota. (It is filled with shooting balls of flame and glowing embers floating in the air, to give you an idea.) No other information was released, and it presently is a mystery what the Furia is or what production car it may or may not preview. That said, the Furia’s detailing is somewhat familiar: We have spy photos of next-generation Corolla prototypes that look like they’ve got similar headlights and taillights, and the cars’ rooflines are pretty similar. We wouldn’t be surprised if the Furia is simply a design concept showing what the new compact sedan might look like. We’ll bring you more information as it becomes available.
