Just in case you’re among the dozen or so Corvette fans who missed the first installment, we’ll bring you up to speed: Chevrolet is presaging the 2014 Corvette C7’s official reveal with a series of four teaser videos designed to give performance fans impure thoughts of break-neck acceleration and g-forces sufficient enough to pull the white letters off the tires.
- Comparison Test: 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 vs. 2013 Nissan GT-R vs. 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S
- Instrumented Test: 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible
- First Drive: 2013 SRT Viper / Viper GTS Coupe
The latest installment, entitled Calibration: At One With the Road (below), follows in the same highly stylized B&W form as the first video, this time giving us a split-second peek at some sexy suspension bits and shot of the instrument panel in operation. We snagged a few screen shots, and we’ll point out the obvious: The suspension pieces appear to be aluminum, the dash appears to be fully digital, and in the third picture, a button with a tiny image of the international symbol for driver halitosis on the steering wheel. We’re kidding, of course, and bet that the voice recognition system in the new Corvette is the next-generation of Chevrolet’s MyLinkthat debuted yesterday at the L.A. auto show.
Check out the vid, and check back here for the third installment of the C7 Tetralogy in two weeks.
