Dana White: Brock Lesnar is NEVER Coming Back to UFC

Brock Lesnar UFC WWE

Zero. What are the chances of Brock Lesnar (Pictured) coming back to the Ultimate Fighting Championship? If this were Jeopardy, that’s what UFC president Dana White’s response would be to the prospects of the former heavyweight champ returning to the Octagon.

“[Lesnar's] done,” White told the Dave and Mahoney radio show in Las Vegas Wednesday. “He called me a couple days ago. He’s never coming back. He just said he can wrestle, but he can’t fight.

“He was contemplating coming back.”

Lesnar abruptly retired from mixed martial arts after getting steamrolled by Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 last New Year’s Eve weekend. However, the 35-year-old was mysteriously sitting cageside to watch Junior dos Santos maul Frank Mir at UFC 146, which had many pundits wondering if a comeback was in the cards.

“The Next Big Thing” made his return to the WWE this past April. He reportedly signed a one-year contract.

Lesnar hung up his MMA gloves with a 5-3 professional record, with all but one of his scraps coming inside the big leagues. Four of his seven UFC fights were of the championship variety.

Now that White has slammed the cage door shut on Lesnar’s comeback, I guess the only question remaining for Lesnar involving MMA is whether his three-year UFC career was Hall of Fame worthy?

From the UFC’s perspective, it certainly wouldn’t be bad for business to induct their most mainstream fighter into their exclusive club.
