With Erik Koch’s abrupt exit from UFC 153, it has allowed former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar to step in and challenge featherweight king Jose Aldo for his crown in Brazil. It’s arguably the biggest lighter-weight scrap that mixed martial arts could arrange.

Light heavyweights Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Glover Teixeira serve as the night’s co-featured attraction. Jon Fitch vs. Erick Silva, Phil Davis vs. Wagner Prado and Demian Maia vs. Rick Story round out the main card. Not too shabby.
