The much-anticipated Chevrolet Camaro will make its NNS debut at Daytona International Speedway. In addition to the new car, Allgaier will have a new crew chief atop the pit box. Zipadelli comes to Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) with several years of experience in the Nationwide Series, most recently working at RAB Racing.

This Week’s Camaro… Justin Allgaier and the No. 31 BRANDT Chevrolet Camaro team will utilize chassis TSM-334 this weekend at Daytona International Speedway. TSM-334 is a new car and will make its debut at the famed 2.5-mile superspeedway.

Say Hello… Justin will spend Wednesday, February 20 in Tampa, Fla., at TradeMark Nitrogen for Justin Allgaier Day. TradeMark Nitrogen has partnered with BRANDT to be part of the No. 31 Ag Car again for the 2013 season. Allgaier will also join his TSM teammates for an appearance at the Team Chevy stage Thursday, February 21 at 4:00 p.m. EST outside turn four, in the DIS fan midway.

From the Crew Chief, Scott Zipadelli… “I enjoy superspeedway racing in general, so I really look forward to going to Daytona for the big race. There’s a lot of anxiety involved with the big wreck. You want to run up front all day, but you don’t want to take unneccesary risks to end your day early. Daytona is a little bit easier as far as setup and speed, compared to a short track like Phoenix. Our objective for the first five races is to finish the best we can and not wreck the car.”

“I’m excited to get the 2013 season started. I have a new crew chief, Scott Zipadelli, and I’m really looking forward to working with him. He’s worked in the Nationwide Series a while and has a lot of experience at Daytona. Last year we were involved in an accident late in the race, so I’m hoping for a better finish in the first race of the season with the new BRANDT Chevy Camaro.”
